Lily Allen is definitely no one’s idea of a perfect pop star. Neither is she a role model.
She drinks, gets drunk, smokes, and flashes her vjayjay occasionally. She took drugs at a young age, lost her virginity, gave a guy a blowjob when she’s young, and everyone in school hates her for being the rebellious one. She’s not stick-skinny, and she makes fun of a lot of fellow pop stars, and she’s definitely not someone who has an amazing voice like Mariah Carey. She’s not exactly hot either, and when she had blond hair, it was totally weird. She looks really unflattering on a lot of magazine covers. She goes clubbing very often and gets drunk during her concerts occasionally. She spends too much money on clothes, and said that she is dead broke most of the time. She also cusses too much sometimes.
But by golly, I love her so fucking much. I think I love her more than I love Eisley. I mean, I love Eisley and am a great fan of theirs, and I think that Stacy is possibly the most perfect human being in the world, but you see…she’s too perfect. One can admire perfection, but one cannot grow to love perfection as much as imperfection.
Lily Allen is witty, smart and funny. Her songs are hilarious and enjoyable, and her music has always been awesome, despite the lack of vocal prowess. Her song covers are always fucking good, no matter what other people think about them. She’s far from being a pretentious little bitch, and is so endearing in many ways. She attacks the papparrazzi with water bottles, and attempted to kick them in the butt. (I think the one in which Hugh Grant threw a can of beans at the papparrazzi is the funniest.) She is not afraid to admit her mistakes, she gets on Twitter battles with Perez Hilton (and wins, in my opinion), and sometimes she says things without thinking, like how she knows people who get high on drugs and can still function normally. Yeahh that’s a shit thing to say, Lily. That’s even more shit when you said that you are broke and have no money because you spent too much money on clothes. But i still think you’re pretty awesome. Especially when you said that anyone who bought Paris Hilton’s album deserves to die. I mean, how true, but no one actually dared to say that in those exact words.
Frankly, she’s not that bad most of the time. She actually have nice things to say about a lot of people. They just aren’t as well publicised as her criticisms of other people.
Her laughter is the loud, boisterous type that makes you want to laugh along with her. She’s so fucking cute sometimes. In the words of a fellow Lily fan, she’s perfectly imperfect. I love that she’s so interesting yet so human. And I think that’s the reason why so many of her fans are also in love with her, and also the reason why so many haters thinks she’s overrated.
By the way, please stop it with the “I might stop making music after my second album!” thing. I will die when you really do that.
